Description	:	Services for Albert J. Meyer, 74, of Creighton were Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Jerome Spenner officiated at the St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. Casket bearers were his grandchildren. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 3 to 9 and a 7:30 p.m. wake service was followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary at the church. Albert graduated from St. Ludger Academy and on Dec. 27, 1938, he married Helen Kotrous at Verdigre. He had farmed all his life until retiring. Mr. Meyer was a member of St. Ludger Church and the 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was president of the St. Ludger Cemetery Committee and past president of the Knox County Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mardene Bryce of Plainview; sons, James of Falls City and Kenneth of Gering; brothers, Bill and Chuck of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
