Description	:	Albert Peter Heitmann died Dec. 27 at the Blue Valley Lutheran Home, Hebron, at the age of 100 years. Services were last Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Byron, with Pastor David Nordstrom officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He was the son of Peter and Anna Engel Meyer Heitmann and was born Dec. 6, 1891 in Nuckolls County. He was baptized into the Christian faith Dec. 29, 1891, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Byron, by Pastor W. Hertel and was confirmed April 10,1906 by Pastor F. Schardt. He was the son of Peter and Anna Engel Meyer Heitmann and was born Dec. 6, 1891 in Nuckolls County. He was baptized into the Christian faith Dec. 29, 1891, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Byron, by Pastor W. Hertel and was confirmed April 10,1906 by Pastor F. Schardt. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage to Martha Hoops Jan. 30,1914, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. To this union six children were born. Mr. Heitmann was a farmer and lived in the Byron community until it became necessary for him to move into the Blue Valley Lutheran Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, Fred, Louis and George, two sisters, Anna Kirchhoff and Alwina Kirchhoff, one great-grandson, Kyle Hietmann. He is survived by three sons, Erich, Arnold and Merlin, three daughters, Mrs. Oris Meyer (Ruth), Mrs. Charles Schwartz (Evelyn), Mrs. Ervin Peterson (Dorothy), 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Alida Duensing and Rosa Tietjen.
