Description	:	ALBERT RAY Funeral services for Albert Ray, 87, who died Saturday afternoon at Clarinda, were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Everett H. Staats at the Wolfe Funeral Home. The music was recorded ad the pall bearers were Bill Findley, Ray Dunn, Jay Moates, Glen Dorn, Clyde Stackhouse, and Lester Focht. Burial was in the Villisca Cemetery. Albert Ray, son of Leonard and Orpha Rebecca True Ray was born May 10, 1865 at New Cumberland, Ohio. He came to Iowa in the fall of 1882. One November 26, 1889, he was married to Charlotte “Lottie” Bixler and to this union were born four sons, Floyd and Fred both of whom died in early life, Oren, who now lives in Oregon, and Guy, now of Lake Park, Iowa. Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Aldridge of Villisca and Mrs. Jim George of Corning, also survive. There are also a half sister, Mrs. George Hayes of Villisca and a half brother, Clyde Bixler of Estherville, Iowa. For the past 25 years, Mr. Ray made his home with his sister, Mrs. Aldridge, who cared for him until recent weeks when he was taken to the hospital.
