Description	:	Mrs. Albertina Henning, nee Schultz, was born at Stillwater, Minnesota on November 30, 1876. She came to Nebraska with her parents when she was one year old and lived on a farm east of Crete. On March 30, 1890 Mrs. Henning was confirmed in St. John Lutheran Church at Kramer by Pastor Ludwig Huber. On January 12, 1894 she was united in marriage with Dick Menke by Pastor August Lohr. Read More	Mrs. Albertina Henning, nee Schultz, was born at Stillwater, Minnesota on November 30, 1876. She came to Nebraska with her parents when she was one year old and lived on a farm east of Crete. On March 30, 1890 Mrs. Henning was confirmed in St. John Lutheran Church at Kramer by Pastor Ludwig Huber. On January 12, 1894 she was united in marriage with Dick Menke by Pastor August Lohr. He died on January 12, 1896. Mrs. Menke married Henry Henning on November 18, 1899. Mrs. Henning was and remained a member of St. John at Kramer from the time she came to Nebraska until her death; she also was a charter member of the Ladies Aid. Due to advanced age Mrs. Henning for a year or so was confined to her home. She suddenly became ill on Friday, November 30, and it became necessary to take her to the hospital. She died there on December 7. Survivors include her two children, Dick Menke of Crete, and Mrs. Hulda Flachman of Kramer; her two step-daughters, Mrs. Augusta Wyman of Lincoln and Mrs. Ida Holstein of Holyoke, Colorado; 14 grandchildren, and 28 great grand-children; four sisters, Mrs. Matilda Huber of Selden, Kansas; Mrs. Carl Mundt of Crete; and Mrs. Elizabeth Busboom of Crete, one brother, William Schultz of Crete. Mrs. Henning was preceded in death by her two husbands and her step-son, Henry L. Henning. Funeral services were held December 10 in the Kramer Lutheran Church with Rev. F.M. Kauffeld officiating.
