Description	:	Alice E. Hunt was born in Peoria, Ills., July 29, 1856, and died at her home in east Nelson, Nebr., Thursday, April 1, 1926, aged 70 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was married to Randle G. Stowers November 18, 1874. To this union were born six children. Mr. and Mrs. Stowers came to Nuckolls County, Nebraska, in 1881, where they resided on a farm until a few years ago, when they moved to Nelson. Hunt was born in Peoria, Ills., July 29, 1856, and died at her home in east Nelson, Nebr., Thursday, April 1, 1926, aged 70 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was married to Randle G. Stowers November 18, 1874. To this union were born six children. Mr. and Mrs. Stowers came to Nuckolls County, Nebraska, in 1881, where they resided on a farm until a few years ago, when they moved to Nelson. The departed joined the Methodist Church at the age of thirteen years and has lived a Christian ever since. Mrs. Stowers is survived by her husband and four children: George of Kimball County, Nebraska; Will of Boulder, Colorado; Henry and Mrs. Dolly King of Nora. Two children died in infancy. Also she leaves one sister, Mrs. C.L. Hoffman of Nelson, and one brother, John of Merced, California. Mrs. Stowers will be missed by her loved ones, neighbors and many friends. She is gone but not forgotten. Our loss is her gain. The funeral service was held in the Nelson Methodist Church Saturday afternoon, April 3, 1926, at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Vincent R. Beebe and assisted by Rev. Mills the Methodist minister at Nora. There was a large attendance of neighbors and friends and beautiful floral offerings. A quartette from Nora Methodist Church rendered appropriate musical selections. The body was laid to rest in the Nelson Cemetery.
