Description	:	MRS. ALICE WILSON DIED SATURDAY Mrs. Alice E. Wilson, highly respected Crisfield matron, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leroy Hinman, on Chesapeake Avenue Saturday evening, following an illness of several months. She was 64 years of age. Born in Princess Anne, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Mary Hardester Packard, and had resided in Crisfield for most of her life. Mrs. Packard was an energetic, generous woman, devoted to her family, always ready and glad to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends, and she was held in esteem and affection by everyone who knew... Read More	MRS. ALICE WILSON DIED SATURDAY Mrs. Alice E. Wilson, highly respected Crisfield matron, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leroy Hinman, on Chesapeake Avenue Saturday evening, following an illness of several months. She was 64 years of age. Born in Princess Anne, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Mary Hardester Packard, and had resided in Crisfield for most of her life. Mrs. Packard was an energetic, generous woman, devoted to her family, always ready and glad to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends, and she was held in esteem and affection by everyone who knew her well. She had a full and useful life and there is sincere regret among relatives and her many friends at her passing. She was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church and had been active in the affairs of the W . S. C. S. there. A Gold Star mother, she lost her only son in World War II. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Stanley Cochrane Post No. 16, American Legion. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday in Immanuel Methodist Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J. Howard Link. Burial was in the Crisfield Cemetery. Bearers were Freddie Smith, Austin W. Cox, Donald Lawrence, Allen L. Hardester, Jerry Byrd and Robert H. Bradshaw. Surviving her are her daughter, Mrs. Leroy Hinman, three sisters, Mrs. Luther Sterling of Crisfield, Mrs. Clarence Massey of Baltimore, and Mrs. William D.
