Edwardson, age 96, of Sioux Rapids, Iowa died March 21, 2013 at Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer, Iowa Alice Louise Graeber, the daughter of John and Lena (Olson) Graeber, was born on July 8, 1916 near Sioux Rapids, Iowa. She attended school at Cornell and Sioux Rapids and was a 1934 graduate of the Sioux Rapids High School. Edwardson, age 96, of Sioux Rapids, Iowa died March 21, 2013 at Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer, Iowa Alice Louise Graeber, the daughter of John and Lena (Olson) Graeber, was born on July 8, 1916 near Sioux Rapids, Iowa. She attended school at Cornell and Sioux Rapids and was a 1934 graduate of the Sioux Rapids High School. On December 8, 1937, Alice was united in marriage to Edwin (Eddie) Edwardson at the Congregational Church in Sioux Rapids and they were blessed with two children: Gary and Janice. Following their marriage, they farmed near Everly and later south of Sioux Rapids until 1968 when they retired and moved into town. Alice was a member of the First United Church of Sioux Rapids, the Womens' Fellowship, various study clubs and many card clubs. She served as a 4-H leader and was a member of the exercise coffee group for 18 years. Alice was a lifetime member of the Little Sioux Golf and Country Club. At home, she enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family. Alice enjoyed working at George's Drug in Sioux Rapids for over 20 years. Alice and Ed enjoyed traveling to Texas and Arizona with their friends for golfing and fun. Alice's life and memory are honored and celebrated by her family which include her children: Gary (Jo) Edwardson of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; Jan Harris of Akron, Iowa; six grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special longtime friend, Arline Waggoner; other extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie, on September 23, 1994; sister, Leona Waite; and two brothers: Julius Graeber and Glen Graeber.
