Description	:	WINSLOW -- Alice M. Huard, 80, left this world on Sept. 16, 2009, to be in the loving arms of her husband Reginald who passed away on Aug. 25, 2009. Born in Québec City, Province of Québec, Canada, on March 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Rosaire and Marie Anne Alma (Bureau) Breton. She received her early education in local schools in Québec. She also attended Sacred Heart Academy in Jackman and Colby College in Waterville, with extension courses from the University of Missouri and the University of Washington. Huard, 80, left this world on Sept. 16, 2009, to be in the loving arms of her husband Reginald who passed away on Aug. 25, 2009. Born in Québec City, Province of Québec, Canada, on March 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Rosaire and Marie Anne Alma (Bureau) Breton. She received her early education in local schools in Québec. She also attended Sacred Heart Academy in Jackman and Colby College in Waterville, with extension courses from the University of Missouri and the University of Washington. Mrs. Huard and her husband were owners and directors of Mother Goose Nursery and Kindergarten in Winslow from 1969 to 1985. Mrs. Huard is survived by her beloved daughter, Ann Chapman of Fairfield, and a grandson, Aaron Chapman. She is also survived by a brother, Charles Breton of Waterville; one sister Mrs. Norman (Marie) Hutchison of Waterville and Holiday, Fla.; a dear friend, Donna Bellows, who cared for her and Reggie with love and tenderness; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Henry (Rita) Breton of Canton, Mass., and Mrs. Jean Paul (Lucille) Breton of North Vassalboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and many cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Francis, Henry and Jean Paul Breton; two sisters, Ange Marie and Cecile and four sons and four daughters who died in infancy from premature births, Marie Regina, Ange Marie, Celeste, Reginald Joseph, Marie Celina, John, an infant son and Jonathan. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at St. John the Baptist Church in Winslow. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Waterville. (Morning Sentine 9/18/2009)
