Description	:	Death of Mrs. Wm. Pikaart Mrs. William Pikaart passed away at 5:45 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Van Wyhe Sr. near McNally, following an illness of several weeks' durartion. About five weeks ago she was taken to the hospital at Rochester, Minn., for treatment, but in spite of all that medical skill could do she received no relief and continued to fail steadily. Pikaart Mrs. William Pikaart passed away at 5:45 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Van Wyhe Sr. near McNally, following an illness of several weeks' durartion. Funeral services were held at the Van Wyhe home at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and at the Christian Reformed church in Ireton at 2 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Edward Van Farowe. Interment was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery at Ireton. The deceased was born at Orange City in October 1901, so was not yet 25 years of age. When 4 years of age she moved with her parents onto the farm near McNally where she grew to young womanhood. In March, 1925, she was united in marriage with William Pikaart at Ireton. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by seven brothers and one sister, Will and Lammert Van Wyhe and Mrs. John Bultman of Akron vicinity, and John Jr., Gerrit, Richard, Byron and Peter Van Wyhe of Ireton vicinity. The sincere sympathy of a host of friends goes out to the members of the grief stricken family in their bereavement. Hawarden Independent 1926-06-10.
