Description	:	Alice was the daughter of Dr. George Cabell, Sr. and Sarah Winston of "Point of Honor", Lynchburg. She married Walter Coles Carrington 11/15/1816. They lived at "Long Branch" in Halifax County until she removed to her her sister-in-law's adjoining plantation, "Mildendo" where she is buried. She was the first wife of Walter Coles Carrington. She had six children, four living to maturity: Edward C. C.-b.11/20/1817 d. 11/4/1878 (Brazos Bottom, Burleson, TX) Dr. George Cabell C. Paul Venable C.-b.12/28/1821-d.10/18/1822 Marion Cabell C.-b.10/18/1823-d. infant Dr. Paul Jones C. Walter Coles C.
