The event was the culmination of a romance that began last summer among the whispering pines at Skyland where the lady was matron for a while and the gallant ranger rode his patrol. Justice Hanna was selected because of an acquaintance formed last summer while the justice and family were visiting the resort. The bride is a daughter of Captain Hatteny of San Bernardino. Keller, Native of City, Death Victim Ally Carlin Keller, native of San Bernardino and member of one of the prominent pioneer families, died Tuesday night at his home, 371 Twentieth street, after a long illness. He was 74 years old. Mr. Keller was widely known throughout San Bernardino county. As a young man he followed ranching for some time and later was in business for many years, operating one of the first moving picture machines. He also was employed by the United States forest service, building all the log ranger stations in the mountains nearby. Later he became a labor foreman at the Santa Fe shops, holding that position until an injury to his neck 14 years ago forced his retirement. SON OF PIONEERS He was the son of W. Carlin Keller and Sarah Lunceford Keller, who came with their parents to California by ox team from Illinois in 1851. They arrived in old San Bernardino in 1852. Their marriage occurred in San Luis Obispo in 1863 and (they) established their home at Base Line and Tippecanoe avenue, where their children were born. A. C. Keller was born July 26, 1868. Mr. Keller was the last of the five sons in the W. C. Keller family and only one of the two daughters survives. She is Mrs. Mary M. Finlayson of Huntington Beach. He was affiliated with San Bernardino aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and was a member of the First Christian church, in which his wife, Etta Melton Keller, is active as a teacher. FUNERAL SATURDAY Surviving, in addition to the widow, Etta M. Keller, and sister, Mrs. Finlayson, are two sons, Carl Keller of Willowbrook and Chris Keller of Long Beach; and four daughters, Mrs. J. R. Kennedy and Mrs. William E. Young of San Bernardino, Mrs. C. S. Palmer of Altadena and Mrs. W. N. Greeson of Vallejo. There are nine grandchildren Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Stephens & Bobbitt mortuary, with the Rev. W. W. Jewell, pastor of the Christian church at Torrance, and the Rev. Julian E. Stuart of the San Bernardino Christian church, officiating. Interment will be made in the family plot at Pioneer cemetery.
