Description	:	The Bismarck Tribune, ND, April 25, 2013 – Alma Kemmet, 95, died peacefully on April 22, 2013, at Sanford Health Continuing Care Center off Collins, Mandan. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with the Rev. Jacob DeBoer officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Parkway Funeral Service, and will continue one hour prior to the service. Alma Kemmet was born April 8, 1918, at Burnstad. She attended school at Napoleon. Alma was united in marriage to George Kemmet in 1935 at Napoleon. The couple farmed in the Dawson area, until moving into Dawson in 1947. In 1951, George and Alma bought a bar, naming it Kemmet’s Bar. Alma was a gifted musician playing numerous instruments, especially the accordion. Alma and George enjoyed spending time at their lake cabin and fishing in Canada. Alma is survived by her children, Willard (Joann) Kemmet, Bradshaw, Neb., Evelyn (George Jr.) Kalainov, Bismarck, Gary (Lindes) Kemmet, Grand Island, Neb., Deborah (Richard) Sperle, Napoleon, and Jacqueline (Kenneth) Borchers, Bismarck; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Irene Wise, Bismarck, Anna Mittleider, Steele, and Eleanor Johnson, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five brothers; four sisters; one son-in-law; and one great-grandchild. ============================
