She and her twin sister were born in Leavenworth to Joseph and Nancy DeBord on September 21, 1904. Her family lived in the Wenatchee area for many years. On August 15, 1921, she was married to Lloyd W. Polley at Cashmere. they also lived at Palisades and Wenatchee, coming to Chelan in 1932. Mr. Polley preceded her in death on March 9, 1981.
