He was born Nov. 6, 1889, at Beloit, Wis., and moved with his family to Seattle in 1902, where he attended schools. Mr. Polley was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Following discharge he married Alma DeBord in 1921 in Cashmere. They made their home at Cashmere and later with Pacific Fruit and Produce.
