Description	:	Amanda B Martin, daughter of William and Maria Martin, was born October 20, 1850, at Scottville, Huntington County, Pennsylvania and departed this life November 9,1939 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C R Mandeville, of Holton, Kansas at the age of 89 years and 20 days. At an early age, she moved with her parents to Brunswick, Missouri. At this home she was married to Gilbert K Faulkender on March 9, 1869. To this union 11 children, 6 boys and 5 girls, were born. She is survived by four sons: E.O. and G.A. of Holton; W.B.of Circleville; and C.A. of Kennsington; and five daughters: Mrs. C.R. Mandeville, Mrs. H.M. Cronk, and Mrs. J.E. Olds of Holton; Mrs. John Jackman of Circleville; and Mrs. P.G. Johnson of Denver Colorado; one brother, John Marlin of Portland Oregon and two sisters: Mrs. Anna Cooley, of Toulan, Illinois and Mrs. Ella Bloomer of Peoria, Illinois; 24 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
