Description	:	Amy L. Seibel, age 90, of rural Delta, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday evening, December 4, 2011, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. She was born December 31, 1920, in Delta to the late Louis Taylor and Gertrude (Roof) Taylor. Amy was a 1939 graduate of Delta High School. She was a homemaker most of her life; and worked a few years at the former McCord Corporation in Wauseon. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta; where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Amy enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, cooking... Read More	Amy L. Seibel, age 90, of rural Delta, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday evening, December 4, 2011, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. She was born December 31, 1920, in Delta to the late Louis Taylor and Gertrude (Roof) Taylor. Amy was a 1939 graduate of Delta High School. She was a homemaker most of her life; and worked a few years at the former McCord Corporation in Wauseon. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta; where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Amy enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, cooking and always felt the need to serve family members and friends when sitting down for a meal. Preceding her in death was her husband, John Seibel in 2000; brothers, Ben, Paul, Louis and Robert Taylor and sister, Caroline Wood. Surviving are her children, Janet (Harold) Rettstatt of Galena, OH, William (Jerilyn) Seibel of Wauseon and Marcia (Daniel) Rohrs of Napoleon; 9 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 4 greatgreat-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A funeral service celebrating Amy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 410 Taylor St. in Delta. Pastor Eric Markovich will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church of Delta or a charity of the donor's choice in Amy's memory.
