Description	:	Amy Snider Eight years of suffering with infantile paralysis was ended when death came to Amy Snider, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Snider, former residents of Carroll township and Clutier, at the home of her parents in Blackhawk county, nine miles southwest of Waterloo, Tuesday afternoon. Read More	Amy Snider Eight years of suffering with infantile paralysis was ended when death came to Amy Snider, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Snider, former residents of Carroll township and Clutier, at the home of her parents in Blackhawk county, nine miles southwest of Waterloo, Tuesday afternoon. The decedent was born June 7, 1913, on the farm in Carroll township now occupied by the Alfred Ewoldt family. She moved with her parents to Clutier in 1920. A few months later she experienced an illness of influenza which, led to com-plication s from which she never recovered. Inflammation of the brain and spinal cord led to a paralysis which gradually affected all parts of her body. In 1922 she spent four months in an Iowa City hospital and later underwent an examination at Rochester, Minn., but physicians agreed her condition was hopeless. She failed gradually year after year, and during the last eight weeks of her life was confined to her bed practically all the time. Surviving, besides her parents, is an older brother, Edward. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 8 a. m. yesterday and at St. Vaclav church, near Clutier at 10 a. m. Burial was in St. Vaclav cemetery.
