Page 1. HEART ATTACK CLAIMS A. H. HUTTON Funeral Director Died Saturday Morning at Axtell Anderson H. Hutton, prominent funeral director of Marshall and Nemaha counties in Kansas and Pawnee county, Nebraska, passed away at his home in Axtell early Saturday morning. Mr. Hutton had been in his usual good health when he retired. When he failed to rise at his usual time his death was discovered by his assistant, Wier Neff, who went to Mr. Hutton's room to call him. Dr. C. M. Newman was called and summoned the county coroner, Dr. Stewart of Frankfort. They estimated the time of his death as one o'clock that morning due to a heart attack. He had passed peacefully away. Anderson Henry Hutton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hutton and an only child, was born near Pawnee City, Nebraska on August 10, 1888. He had attained the age of 58 years, 5 months and 13 days at the time of his death, January 23, 1937. He attended school at the Pawnee Academy and college at Lincoln, Nebraska. He was united in marriage to Miss Florence Young near Pawnee City, Nebraska on May 10, 1911. To this union were born three children: Lawrence Kermit, Evelyn Eleanor and Charles Carol. Mr. Hutton's family survives. His father preceded him in death when Mr. Hutton was twelve years of age. His mother, Mrs. Margaret Hutton, died at the home of her son in Axtell on Mother's Day May 12, 1933. Mr. Hutton was engaged in the undertaking business at Seneca, Sabetha, and Oneida before moving to Axtell in the spring of 1933, where he has since conducted the Hutton Funeral Home; with a branch office at DuBois, Nebraska. Mr. Hutton had an extensive business acquaintance in southeastern Nebraska and northeastern Kansas. He was admired and respected for his unfailing good nature and optimistic spirit. Friends everywhere will remember his friendly greeting. While living at Sabetha he united with the Congregational church. He was a member of the K. P. lodge at DuBois, Nebraska and the Odd Fellow lodge at Oneida. The funeral service will be conducted at the Methodist church in Axtell Tuesday afternoon, at two o'clock by the pastor, Rev. H. T. Vigour. The pallbearers are to be fellow business associates of Mr. Hutton: R. W. Popkess, Centralia; Raymond Droge, St. Benedict; Donald Hayward, DuBois. Neb.; Elmer Jorden, Goff; William Smith, Vermillion and D. L. Sauceman, Axtell. Interment will be in the Pawnee City cemetery beside his parents.
