Description	:	A. B. Halderson, one of Glasco's early settlers, passed away at his home in this city last Friday evening after a six week's illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Church, Rev. Scheding, officiating, interment was made in Glasco Cemetery. Andrew Bjorn Halderson was born near Christiana, Norway, November 19, 1848. He passed away at his home in Glasco, Kansas, July 20, 1917, at the age of sixty-eight years, eight months and one day. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Church, Rev. Scheding, officiating, interment was made in Glasco Cemetery. Andrew Bjorn Halderson was born near Christiana, Norway, November 19, 1848. He passed away at his home in Glasco, Kansas, July 20, 1917, at the age of sixty-eight years, eight months and one day. The deceased came to America with his parents in 1854. The family took up their residence in Iowa County, Wis., remaining there until 1869. In company with his brother, H.B. Halderson, the deceased came to the Solomon Valley and took up a homestead two and one half miles southwest of the present city of Glasco, KS. December 16, 1875 he was united in marriage to Miss Turb Olson of Bennington, Kansas. In 1903 Mr. and Mrs. Halderson and their son Chester moved to Glasco, at which place they have since made their home. Mr. Halderson leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and two sons, Arden E. and Chester E. and all of this city. One son Birney Henry preceded his father to his reward in 1898 at the age of eleven years. Others to mourn his loss are two brothers and four sisters and other relatives and a host of friends. ---
