Andromeda Dirrim, the daughter of Robert R. and Amanda Firestone Dirrim, was born in Dekalb County, Indiana, March 12, 1865, and departed this life at her home in Hamilton, Indiana, March 4, 1939, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 22 days. She was the oldest of nine children. Three of them preceded her in death, Lettie, Rosa and Chrissy. Meda, as she was better known to her friends and neighbors, was a seamstress for many years. Through this channel, she made many friends. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Hamilton, Indiana. She sought to live a worthy life and be useful. She leaves to hold her in loving memory; three brothers, Fletcher, Charlie and Roy Dirrim; two sisters Nora Stout and Kerry Hinkle, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
