Description	:	Mrs. Edward V. Colgan, a highly respected resident of the Alma community, passed away quite suddenly at a hospital in Holdrege on Friday of last week. Mrs. Colgan had been in poor health for some time, but nevertheless he passing came as a shock to members of her family as well as to her large circle of friends. Mrs. Colgan had made her home on a farm north of Alma since her marriage at Pacific Junction, Iowa, on April 26, 1911. Colgan, a highly respected resident of the Alma community, passed away quite suddenly at a hospital in Holdrege on Friday of last week. Mrs. Colgan had been in poor health for some time, but nevertheless he passing came as a shock to members of her family as well as to her large circle of friends. Mrs. Colgan had made her home on a farm north of Alma since her marriage at Pacific Junction, Iowa, on April 26, 1911. During this time, she took an active interest in community affairs and the activities of the church, always ready to lend a helping hand in time of need. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Edward V. Colgan, one son, Vincent of Alma, two daughters, Mrs. Edward L. Cassier of Huntley and Mrs. Eugene Morin of Sioux Falls, SD., other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Catholic Church in this city Monday morning, with the Rev.
