They were married at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Rush, near Windfall, April 12th, 1877. By this Union they have eight living children, they being Mrs. Maude Fields, wife of Frank Fields, Mrs. Effa Shaw, William H Bragg, John Bragg, Misses Angeline, Ethel, Iva and Fern Bragg. Reverend Bragg has been engaged in the ministry of the Friends Church for the last twenty five years and he and his wife were charter members of the Hazel Dell monthly meetings of the Friends Church which was organized twenty eight years ago, and there has scarcely been a month since that time that he has not preached for that congregation. He was born near Carmel in Hamilton County, January 5th 1844, and was married to Miss Jenny Russell in Hancock County, January 25th, 1864, and by the marriage had five children, of whom two are living, Frank Bragg, of Sycamore and James Bragg, now in the state of Illinois. His first wife died January 12th, 1877. When the war of the Rebellion broke out he was but eighteen years old, but he stole away from home and enlisted in Co. F. 40th Regt. Ind. Vols. At Lafayette, Ind. on the 16th day of November, 1861, serving three years two days, was discharged at Indianapolis on the 18th day of November, 1864. Among the important battles in which her participated was the battle of Stone River, Pittsburg Landing, Corinth, Perrysville, Missionary Ridge being the last as he lost his right arm while in the famous historical charge that was made by General Thomas in the center of Missionary Ridge November 25th, 1863 when General Braxton Bragg's army was defeated and driven from the ridge. Before coming to Tipton County, he served as sheriff of Hamilton County one term. He and his family now live on a small farm and her receives $40 per month pension from Uncle Sam, preaches a part of the time and takes the world pretty easy in his old days. 1/11/1911 Tipton Tribune Wednesday afternoon, the clerk issue a marriage license to William P Morrison and Angeline Bragg. A decorated cake centered the table where dinner was served. Guests present with Mrs. Henderson and family and Mrs. Farthing were; her four sisters, Mrs. Maude Fields and Mrs. Effie Shaw of Tipton, Mrs. Angie Morrison and Mrs. Ethel Brady of Windfall and her brother, John Bragg, of Swayzee. The event was also in celebration of Mr. Morrison's birthday anniversary which occurred Saturday. One decorated cake was baked by Mrs. Morrison's sister, Mrs. D. R. Brady and another was the gift of their daughter, Miss Alice Morrison. They centered the table where they pitch-in dinner was served. He had undergone treatment at the Tipton county hospital some time ago. Funeral services for the man who had farmed almost all his life are planned at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hazel Dell Friends church. Rev. Charles Gentry will officiate and burial will be in Brookside cemetery. Arrangements were made by S. S. Edwards Funeral home, which returned the body to the Morrison residence where friends may call this evening. Born near Alto, in Howard County, Dec. 30, 1875, Morrison was the son of John and Cynthia (Koons) Morrison. One of six children, he was 13 when he came to Windfall. Only one sister survives. Miss Oma Tolle became Morrison's wife March 18, 1903 and her death occurred on her birth date two years later. Morrison then married Angie Bragg Jan 11, 1911 and she survives. The farmer was a member of Hazel Dell church. Surviving with the widow are four children, Elgie and Weldon Morrison and Mrs. Howard Mickle, of Windfall, and Mrs. Homer Causey, of Kokomo; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Russell, of Center, and five grandchildren. 7/20/1955 Tipton Tribune Mrs. Morrison, William Ingrum Say Wedding Vows Mrs. Ted Barrett Mrs. Angie Morrison, of Windfall, and William Ingrum of Kokomo, were united in marriage Saturday evening at the Mount Lebanon Friends Church parsonage. The singe ceremony was performed by Reverend Fanny Gentry. The bride wore a navy blue nylon net dress over navy blue satin, with white accessories. Her jewelry was a 100 year old cameo belonging to the Mrs. Glen Francis family, with the white necklace and earring to match. Her corsage was of sweet peas. The bride and bridegroom were former schoolmates many years ago. The new Mrs. Ingrum has been employed for the past eight years for Dr. Harold Ericson, of Windfall. Her husband is employed at the Maher bakery in Kokomo, and the couple is at home at 1725 South Union Street, in that city, for the present time. 10/05/55 Tipton Tribune Hershel Fields Feted At Birthday Dinner Mrs. Maude Fields, 234 South Independence Street, entertained at a birthday dinner Sunday for Hershel Fields, of Carbon. The honored guest received several gifts. Farthing, of Sharpsville; Mrs. Effie Shaw, Mrs. Zelma Simmons, of Tipton; Donald Clouse, of Royal Center; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Causey, Mrs. Charles Gentry and Will Ingrum, of Kokomo. 9/17/1960 Tipton Tribune Complaint Filed In Circuit Court Angie Ingrum has filed a complaint for ejectment against Howard and Alice Mickle of Windfall, in Tipton Circuit Court. Mrs. Ingrum alleges that she is the owner of a life estate in and is entitled to immediate possession of lot No. 7 in George C. Woods Oak Hill Addition to the town of Windfall. She also alleges that the defendants now hold possession of the real estate and have so held possession since November 14, 1952. She also states that they have therefore unlawfully kept her out of possession of the property and she has suffered damages in' the amount of $7,000 for which she asks judgment. Attorney for the plaintiff is L. Owen Bolinger, Kokomo attorney.
