Description	:	Daughter of William Dines and Elizabeth Bonner. Married James Ralph 27 FEB 1840 in Shelbyville, Shelby County, Missouri. Death of Mrs. Ralph. Word reached here yesterday of the death of Mrs. Emma Ralph at the home of C. B. Duncan in Quincy Wednesday night. She was formerly a resident of Shelbyyille and was well known to the people of this county, being an old resident. She was an aunt of Mrs. R. L. Thomas of this city and Mrs. C. B. Duncan of Quincy. The Shelbina Torchlight (Shelbina, MO), 1902-06-06; Page 1, Column 3 Mrs. Emma Ralph. This excellent lady, full of years and loved by all who knew her, passed over the river Wednesday night in her 85th year. She and her husband came to Quincy at an early day, when the place first started. Then when Shelbyville was laid out, sixty-odd years ago, they settled there, and there lived, contented and happy and faithful to every duty and every obligation, until death claimed Mr. Ralph some years ago. Since then Mrs. Ralph lived with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Duncan, and went with then to Quincy lat fall. Mrs. Ralph was a devout christian and a member of the M. E. Church South. Rev. Todd officiated at the funeral services and her funeral was largely attended.
