Read More	Obituary: Mrs. Ann (Peck) Stephenson The death occurred on Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Armstrong, Huron Street of Ann Peck, widow of John Stephenson of Stanley township, at the ripe age of eighty-seven years and three months. Mrs. Stephenson was born in England and came to Canada with her parents at the age of seven. The family came to Stanley settling on a farm on the Goshen Line. Nearly seventy years ago Ann was united in marriage to her late husband and went with him to his home, also on the Goshen, where they lived until his death eighteen years ago. About seven years ago Mrs. Stephenson came to reside with her daughter in Clinton, but during the past summer she spent some time with her sons in Stanley and seemed to be in fairly good health, considering her advanced years. For about seven weeks before her death, however she had been confined to bed and suffered considarbly. Mrs. Stephenson is survived by two daughters and three sons; Ralph of the Parr line, Stanley Twp. W.H. of Marlette, Michigan. David John on the homestead on the Goshen, Mrs. Robert Armstrong, Clinton, and Mrs. David Armstrong of Pilot Mound Man. All were with her at the end, having gathered some days before. She was the last member of her fathers family. Mrs. Stephenson was a woman of a very happy and genial disposition. She was social and loved her friends but she was a faithful wife and most devoted mother, spending her life in the interests of her children's best welfare, and she was rewarded by their devotion to her in her declining years. She was a devoted Christian and until her health failed, was regular attendant at the church services. She was brought up a Methodist but on her marriage went to the Anglican church with her husband. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the Ontario Street church, interment to be in Bayfield cemetery.
