Description	:	Mrs. Anna A. Davis, 76, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 1962 at 7:50 p.m., at the Davis Nursing Home in Keosauqua following a lengthy illness. She was born May 26, 1886 in Van Buren County, the daughter of David P. and Mabel Emma Houser. She lived most of her life in Van Buren County. She was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. She was married Sept. 9, 1910 to Glenn E. Davis, at Bonaparte. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fred Chambers of Bonaparte, Mrs. Charles Carter of Mount Sterling and Mrs. Ida Mae Snyder of Brookfield, Ill.; five brothers, Rex, Elvan and Charles Houser in Washington, Ralph and Logan Houser in California; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Nov. 19, 1923 and by one brother, two sisters and two great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m., at the Bonaparte Presbyterian church with Rev. Marvin C. Janssen officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte cemetery.
