Description	:	53y 11m 21ds Kansas Cloud - August 1897 Anna Rackley nee Tie [sic] was born in New Hope, Canada Aug. 12, 1843, and died at the home of her son, Martin Capper, four miles east of Rice, Ks., Aug. 9, 1897. She, with her parents, moved to Carrol county, Ill. when she was seven years of age, and in 1870 moved to Kansas and has since been a resident of this state. She was married twice. She, with her parents, moved to Carrol county, Ill. when she was seven years of age, and in 1870 moved to Kansas and has since been a resident of this state. She was married twice. Her first husband dying in 1885. To them were born three children, Martin Capper, Samuel Capper and Jennie Hester, all of whom survive her. She was married to her now bereaved husband {John C. Rackley} ten years ago and had since lived in Cloud county. Her last. sickness was long and severe but she bore all with great patience and expressed her to depart this tenement of clay and be with Christ. Her funeral service was conducted by Rev. F. A. Colwell. Many surviving friends and neighbors paid their last respects to the deceased. May she rest in peace and may there be a glorious returning beyond the river of death.
