Read More	Death Claims Mrs. Anna Seiler Following an illness of five weeks duration of an affliction of the heart, Mrs. Anna Seiler passed away last Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Bonge, in Creighton. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Federated church, being conducted by Rev. Hughes, Presbyterian minister of Niobrara and interment was made in St. Ludger cemetery in the family plot, at the side of the grave of her husband, whose precedence in death occurred several years ago. Mrs. Seiler was a kind and charitable woman with always a good word for her neighbors and who was ever willing to be of assistance when possible. Her friends mourn her passing and extend sympathy to the family, whose mother has answered the final summons. Annie Sundermann was born in Amsterdam, Holland, March 4, 1854 and died at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 24 days. When fifteen years of age she came to this country with her father and brothers, her mother having died when she was a small child. They lived first at St. Louis, Mo. and it was there she was married to August Seiler on June 23, 1877. They moved to Griswold, Iowa about 1880, making this their home for several years and later moved to South Dakota and then to Sioux City, Ia. They came to Knox county in 1890, living first at Bazile Mills. They moved to Creighton fourteen years ago. Since the death of her husband seven years ago, she has made her home with her children. Mrs. Seiler was the mother of seven children, two sons and five daughters, six of whom survive and were in constant attendance at her bedside during her last illness. A daughter, Mrs. Lydia Stubben, died three years ago. Surviving children are Fred of Marmarth, N.D.; Ernest and Mrs. Anna Lafrenz of Center; Mrs. Louis Bonge, Mrs. Gusta Koepke and Mrs. Terese Huigens of Creighton. There are also 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and one brother, Anton Sundermann of Huron, S.D. "Grandma" Seiler, as she was familiarly known to all her friends, leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing. Six of her grandsons served as pallbearers at the funeral services.
