Death came after a ten day illness, which was attributed to bowel obstruction. Mr. Sealer was born at Julesburg, Colo., on April 24, 1875 and his demise occurred January 23, 1942, at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 30 days. Death came after a ten day illness, which was attributed to bowel obstruction. Mr. Sealer was born at Julesburg, Colo., on April 24, 1875 and his demise occurred January 23, 1942, at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 30 days. As a small boy he moved with his parents to Sioux City and from there to Knox county, where he spent the balance of his life in farming. On November 27, 1901, his marriage to Ida Mae Racely took place. This union was blessed with three children, one son preceding him to the other world. He was united with the Congregational church at an early age and was a life long Christian. He was a kind and loving husband and father and a good provider for his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Last February Mr. Sealer was in an auto accident east of Osmond, in which his brother-in-law, Julius Lafrenz of Center was fatally injured. Surviving are his wife, Ida Sealer, son, Philip of Verdigre and a daughter, Shirley at home, a brother, Fred of Lovell, Wyo.; four sisters, Anna Lafrenz, Center; Louise Bonge, Augusta Koepke and Theresa Huigens of Creighton; one grandson and a large number of other relatives and friends. One sister, Lydia Stubben, preceded him to the great beyond in 1928. The last rites were held on Sunday afternoon from the home at 1:45 to 2:00, to the Presbyterian church at Niobrara. Rev. Basil Anderson, pastor of the Federated church in Creighton, presided at the services.
