Funeral services were held May 15 at SS. Peter and Paul Church of the Parish of the Resurrection of Our Lord with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers were Lester Bunda, Richard Bunda, Robert Bunda, Henry Hotovec, Darrel Hotovec and Ronald Hansen. Anna Bunda was born in Czechoslovakia Dec. 13, 1882. The family came to the United States in 1888 and established their home in the Fort Dodge area. She attended schools in that vicinity and, in 1901 the family moved to the Pocahontas community. She was married in SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church to Frank J. Hotovec on Feb. 16, 1909. They farmed and always lived in Sherman township, Havelock, until taking up residency at the manor. Survivors include the widower Frank and a sister, Mrs. Charles Cihlar of Pocahontas. Transcribed by Teresa Davis
