Description	:	Anna was born in Trebarov, East Bohemia, Czech Republic (at the time this was in Austria) December 25, 1868 to Vincent A. Freid and Anna Oppek/Oppeck. She emigrated to the U.S. with her parents and siblings, arriving in New York Harbor on March 20, 1886 on the ship "Elbe". She married Herman Franz Schoborg on June 4, 1889 in Heron Lake, Jackson County, Minnesota. I'm not quite sure how they met, given he was from Germany and she was from Austria and emigrated supposedly in different years. her mother Anna died in La Crosse, Jackson County, MN in 1901, and... I don't know yet where they are buried. One of the interesting things is that Anna's sister Amelia married John Joseph Just, they had 6 children, one of whom is Gertrude. Gertrude married Raymond Appel, who's son Leo is married to Herman and Anna's Schoborg's great-granddaughter Carol Schoberg. So Leo's Great parents (Vincent and Anna Oppek Fried) are Carol's Great Great Grandparents.
