Description	:	Anna Katherine Ostermann was born February 24, 1852, at Beilstein, Germany. At the age of two her parents came to American and settled near Manitowoc, Wis. She was united in marriage to Joseph Diederich of DePere, Wis., May 2, 1871. In 1879 they moved to Nebraska and located on a farm southwest of Geneva, Neb., where they resided until October, 1908, when they moved to their present home in Geneva. She was united in marriage to Joseph Diederich of DePere, Wis., May 2, 1871. In 1879 they moved to Nebraska and located on a farm southwest of Geneva, Neb., where they resided until October, 1908, when they moved to their present home in Geneva. To this union seven children were born, all of whom are living. The deceased died suddenly at her home at 3 a.m. Friday, February 8, 1918, aged 65 years, 11 months and 16 days. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. George Agius at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10 a.m., Monday, February 11, 1918. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery. She is survived by her husband and two sons, and five daughters. They are John, Albert, Mrs. Jerome Walker, Mrs. Stewart Heiderstadt of Geneva, Mrs. Charles Walker of Lincoln, Mrs. Jewell Rush of Amity, Ark., and Barbara of Omaha. All were present except Mrs. Jerome Walker who is ill with pneumonia, and Mrs. Jewell Rush whose children were ill. The Nebraska Signal February 18, 1918
