Description	:	John Conrad Diederich, son of the late Joseph and Anna Diederich, was born in DePere, Wis., July 13, 1874. He passed away January 17, 1945, at his home in Geneva, Neb., after an illness of a year and a half. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and he bore his sufferings with patience. He made his... Read More	John Conrad Diederich, son of the late Joseph and Anna Diederich, was born in DePere, Wis., July 13, 1874. He passed away January 17, 1945, at his home in Geneva, Neb., after an illness of a year and a half. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and he bore his sufferings with patience. His kindly disposition made him loved by all who knew him. In 1878, he came with his parents to Nebraska and settled on a farm near Geneva, being one of the early pioneers of that community. He made his home on this farm until three years ago, when he moved to a nearby farm. He moved to Geneva two months ago. He was married to Miss Anna Hein of Chicago April 3, 1907. To this union three children were born. Mr. Diederich is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. John Reinsch of Shickley; two sons, Phillip, who lives on the home place near Geneva and Paul, of the armed forces, now stationed at the Bushnell General Hospital, Brigham City, Utah; one brother, Albert Diederich of Geneva; five sisters, Mrs. C. E. Walker of Lincoln, Mrs. Jerome Walker of Arcadia, Neb., Mrs. Mary Rush of Denver, Col., Mrs. Clara Heiderstadt of Denver, Col., and Mrs. H.V. Brick of Lincoln; other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held January 20 at S. Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva and were conducted by Rev. James Gilroy. Interment was in the church's cemetery. Pallbearers were John Jacque, John Carl, John Katheiser, John Walter, John R. Weis and John Marson. Relatives attending from a distance were Mrs. Clara Heiderstadt and Mrs. Mary Rush of Denver, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Walker and Mrs. H.V. Brick of Lincoln, Mrs. Adeline Pasco and Miss Lorena Walker of grand Island, Mr. and Mrs. John Walker of St. Paul and Mrs. Donald Walker of Loup City.
