Description	:	BRUNSWICK--Funeral services were held Friday, May 25 for Mrs. Anna Nash, who passed away after a lingering illness at the Plainview hospital, where she had been taken the previous day. She was 85 years of age. Services were conducted at the Congregational Church with the Rev. Clarence Hanscom officiating. Anna Frederick was born Oct. 19, at Laurel, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Frederick. She moved west with her parents in 1880. They settled on a farm in Saunders County near Memphis. Anna Frederick was born Oct. 19, at Laurel, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Frederick. She moved west with her parents in 1880. They settled on a farm in Saunders County near Memphis. On Nov. 9, 1890, she was united in marriage to Chauncey Nash at Ashland. Four sons and five daughters were born to them. Mr. Nash, who died May 23, 1930 and two children preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother. The family moved from Memphis to a farm south of Brunswick in 1910. This was her home until she moved to Brunswick in the spring of 1943. She united with the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, retaining her membership there, until a few years ago, when she became a member of the Congregational Church here. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by three sons and four daughters; Leslie Nash and Doris (Elmer) Wagner of Ithaca, Arthur Nash of Cornelius, Ore, Vera (Clayton) Buche and Veryle (Aage) Ohlrich of Brunswick, Curtis and Beryle Nash at home; 24 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two sisters Winnie (John) Jacobs of Ashland and Alice (Don) Lee of Omaha; one brother, Albert Frederick of Fremont and one brother by adoption, Frank Frederick of Columbus. ...The Creighton News 31 May 1956
