The family asked that memorials be given to Tri-Towns Rescue Service, St. Peter School fund, American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Born 19 February 1906 in Oakland, Md., she was the daughter of the late William A. and Ellen M. (DeWitt) Maffet. Her husband James Estel Kenny died 10 February 1958. Mrs. Kenny was a member of St. Peter Church, Catholic Daughters of America, the Tri-State Soroptimist club, Westernport Senior Citizens and Victory Unit 155, American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by three sons, James E. Kenny Jr., Blacksburg, Virginia; William M. Kenny, Westernport and Patrick J. Kenny, Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Mary Ellen Moran, Westernport and Martha Ann Podelco, McCoole, Md.; Marion White, Richmond, Virginia; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren."
