Grummert, daughter of Wilke and Mary (Kuntzer) Aden, was born on a farm near Oak, Nebraska, November 25, 1907, and passed from this earthly life on Sunday, September 11, 1994, while a patient in Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 17 days. Grummert, daughter of Wilke and Mary (Kuntzer) Aden, was born on a farm near Oak, Nebraska, November 25, 1907, and passed from this earthly life on Sunday, September 11, 1994, while a patient in Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was raised on the family farm and educated at Daisy Bell School District #1. February 2, 1926, at Salem Lutheran Church she was married to Herman Fredrick Grummert. This union was blessed with 11 children. Anna had lived in Nelson and Nora, Nebraska, and Webber, Kansas, for a short time, but most of her life was spent in and around Superior, Nebraska. She entered the Good Samaritan Center of Superior April 21, 1980. She was a member of the Centennial Lutheran Church of Superior. Preceding her in death were her parents, Wilke and Mary, her husband, Herman, on June 5, 1969; one daughter, Pauline Dorman; two sons, Lloyd and Ivan Grummert; and two sisters, Christina Burns and Minnie Klingenberger. Survivors include her children, Alvina Newell and Clara Mahieu, both of Superior, Allen and his wife Ruby, Albert and his wife Lequite and Everett, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Larry, Harold and Leonard, all of Hastings; 33 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 13, 1994, at 10 a.m. from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, Nebraska, with Pastor Paul Albrecht officiating. Music was provided by soloist, Marsha Cline, singing "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "The Old Rugged Cross" with Carlita Price as organist and accompanist. Casketbearers were Dean Grummert, James Newell, Jerry Mahieu, Roger Grummert, Dave Belden and Darrell McCorkle. Honorary pallbearers were Dave Mahieu and Eldrick Grummert. Burial was in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, north of Superior. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska, was in charge of the arrangements.
