Msgr. Nicholas Wegner of Boys Town, nephew of Mrs. Dohmen, officiated at the solemn requiem high mass. The Rev. Roland Peschel was deacon and the Rev. Paul Schneider, sub-deacon. Read More	Funeral Held Saturday for Anna Dohmen, 94 Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Dohmen, 94, who died at the Osmond hospital Wednesday, May 20, were conducted Saturday morning at St. Ludger Catholic Church. Msgr. Nicholas Wegner of Boys Town, nephew of Mrs. Dohmen, officiated at the solemn requiem high mass. The Rev. Roland Peschel was deacon and the Rev. Paul Schneider, sub-deacon. Burial was in St. Ludger Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons. Anna Hermann, daughter of John and Carolina Hermann, was born in Germany on June 21, 1870. She came to this country with her parents at the age of 11. They settled at Dubuque, Ia. Shortly after the death of her father in 1882, she came to Creighton with her mother and two sisters, Mary and Tillie. Her mother died in 1924. She was married to Joseph Dohmen at St. Bernard on April 17, 1888. Eleven children were born to them. They farmed at St. Bernard for 16 years, then moved to a farm southwest of Creighton. In 1929 they moved into town. Mr. Dohmen died in February 1941. She continued to live in her home until October 1960, when she went to St. Joseph's Home in West Point. Last January she was moved to the Osmond hospital. She was a charter member of the local Thursday Club. Surviving are eight children, Mrs. Ben (Mary) Neyens and John of Colome, S.D.; Mrs. Pete (Carrie) Neyens and William of Winner, S.D., Leo of Sioux Falls, S.D., Sr. M. Gertrudine, OP of Faribault, Minn. and Andrew and Mrs. Harold (Nellie) Randall of Ceighton; 19 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were three daughters, Christine, in infancy, Helen Elizabeth Randall and Tillie Novotny and two sisters, Mary Rehberg and Tillie Hermann.
