Anna's sister Mary was also married to Joseph's brother Henry. -------------------------------------------- Anna Josephine Falter, 92, Freeburg, died Friday at Memorial Community Hospital. She was born May 8, 1898, at Koeltztown, a daughter of Frank and Mary Linnenbrink Bax. She was married April 13, 1920, at Koeltztown, to Joseph Fred Falter, who died April 23, 1989. A homemaker, she was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church at Freeburg, the Ladies Sodality, and a former member of the Quilting Club. Survivors include: five sons, Lawrence Falter, Jerome Falter, Henry Falter, Leander Falter, and Norbert Falter, all of Freeburg; two daughters, Martha Hobbs, St. Louis and Teresa Kloeppel, Freeburg; 33 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. The Rev. John Groner will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today and from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
