Description	:	PUTLITZ, ANNA M.—Anna M. Putlitz, daughter of Frederick W. Padley and M. Eleanor Padley, was born February 1, 1882, at Oregon, Ill. The family later moved to Strang, Neb., and in 1894 moved to Fairmont, Neb., which remained her family home to the time of her death, except for a short period during which they lived at Eldorado Springs, Mo. November 15, 1910, she was united in marriage with Francis F. Putlitz of Fairmont, Neb. She worked with her husband in the Farmers State Bank of Fairmont for many years. In 1947 they retired from business and... Read More	PUTLITZ, ANNA M.—Anna M. Putlitz, daughter of Frederick W. Padley and M. Eleanor Padley, was born February 1, 1882, at Oregon, Ill. The family later moved to Strang, Neb., and in 1894 moved to Fairmont, Neb., which remained her family home to the time of her death, except for a short period during which they lived at Eldorado Springs, Mo. November 15, 1910, she was united in marriage with Francis F. Putlitz of Fairmont, Neb. She worked with her husband in the Farmers State Bank of Fairmont for many years. In 1947 they retired from business and resided in Fairmont until the death of Mr. Putlitz October 21, 1958. She was a member of the Episcopal church by confession of faith. She was an active member of the P. E. O. Sisterhood of Fairmont for many years and until her death. After a brief period of failing health she passed away at her home in Fairmont Sunday night, November 1, 1959. She is survived by her brother, Charles D. Padley of Bath, S. D., and two nephews, Clifford Padley of Bath, S. D., and William S. Padley of Gothenburg, neb. In addition to her relatives, she leaves to mourn her, a host of friends and neighbors who remember her as a loving faithful friend. Memorial services were held at the Federated church, Fairmont, at 2 p. m. Thursday, November 5 by Father Leonard Adams of the Episcopal church of Seward. The vocal selections were rendered by Mrs. William Boren, “The End of a Perfect Day” and “Prayer Perfect,” accompanied by Mrs. Roland Hall. The pallbearers were John A. Anderson, Robert Bettger, Ralph B. Lefler, Francis C. McMahon Sr., Lew B. Moul and Walter C. Moul. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal November 12th, 1959 page 4.
