Services were from the Zion Lutheran church in Denison with Rev. C. W. Schmidt officiating. Services were from the Zion Lutheran church in Denison with Rev. C. W. Schmidt officiating. Anna Margaret Bliesman nee Funderman, daughter of Dietrich Funderman and Doras Kroger Funderman, was born in Butler township, Scott county, Iowa on Oct 13, 1863. She spent her childhood and attended rural school there. In the year 1876 she came with her parents to Crawford county and settled on a farm in Otter Creek township. On Oct. 18, 1883, she was married to Henry Bliesman. The young couple lived on a farm in Otter Creek township until they moved to Denison in 1910. Mr. and Mrs. Bliesman were the parents of seven children, one of whom preceded his mother in death at the age of 11 years. Her husband passed away in 1925. Mrs. Bliesman was in ill health for some time and spent the last three weeks in bed. The deceased is survived by six sons, Henry and Otto of Denison, John and William of Schleswig, Herman of Ida Grove and Louie of Canon City, Colo.; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Meta Boysen of Omaha. Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Burial was made in Oakland cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter and Lee Bliesman, Raymond Baker, Hugo Frahm, Raymond Bielenberg and Harvey Davis.
