During the last years, Mrs. Huebner suffered from various ailments, which according to general opinion could prove fatal, but from which she always rallied. Finally, because of the weakness of old age, she was bedridden for a number of months and passed away Friday at 12:45. She had reached the age of 83 years. Finally, because of the weakness of old age, she was bedridden for a number of months and passed away Friday at 12:45. She had reached the age of 83 years. Short funeral services were held at her home at 1:30 and at 2 o'clock at the Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev. G.H. Schaefer officiated at the services. Casket bearers were Charles Huebner, Henry Huebner, Clayton Crum, Wayne Kutz, Arthur Anderson and Seymour Bartlett. Interment was made in the Odebolt cemetery. The Cook Lutheran church choir sang several hymns at the home service and the Trinity Lutheran choir, accompanied by Mrs. Marvin Hansen sang at the church. The flower committee consisted of Mrs. J.C. Schramm, Mrs. Vern Robson, Mrs. Albert Hoefling and Mrs. Harold Weifenbach. Anna Margaret Hausmann, daughter of Conrad and Catherine Hausmann was born Nov. 13, 1865 near Beecher, Ill. She came to Iowa in 1875 and lived on a farm three miles north of Odebolt with her father and ten brothers and sisters. She was united in marriage Feb 4, 1885 to Christian F. Huebner and they established their home five miles north of Odebolt until they retired and moved into town. Mr. Huebner passed away Aug. 19, 1933. They were the parents of six children, two of whom preceded their mother in death. Emil, who died in 1935 and Emma, who passed away in infancy. Also two grandchildren, Donald Huebner, and Fern Ann Kutz, and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by four children, Henry of Aberdeen, S.D., Charles of Early, Mrs. Alma Kutz, who has made her home with her mother for a number of years, and Ellen (Mrs. Clayton Crum) of Odebolt; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many friends. Mrs. Huebner became a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church in Cook Township shortly after the turn of the century and when the Ladies' Aid society was organized in that congregation she was one of the charter members.
