She was baptized and confirmed in Germany and a member of St. Mathews Evangelical church of Ashton, Nebr. She came to America in 1880 and settled in Colo., Howard County, Nebraska. She was baptized and confirmed in Germany and a member of St. Mathews Evangelical church of Ashton, Nebr. She came to America in 1880 and settled in Colo., Howard County, Nebraska. In the spring of 1881 moved to Ashton, Nebr, Sherman County, in 1910 to Belfast, Greeley county, in 1915 returned to Ashton and since 1919 was a resident of Loup City. She was married to Herman Nehler on April 15, 1875. To this union was born 7 children, 2 passing away in infancy. Besides the loving husband, she leaves 3 daughters, Mrs. J. Burman of Rockville Nebr, Mrs. A. Sundstrom of Loup City, Nebr., Mrs. W. Dutscher of Roseville Nebr, 2 sons, Oscar of Lincoln Nebr., Herman of Belfast, Nebr., 4 grandchildren, 1 sister in Germany; 2 brothers, O. G. Hanisch of Rockville, Nebraska and E. F. Hanisch of Duval, Wash. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 26 from the Evangelical church, Rev. Marshall officiating. The bereaved family, to whom she was a devoted and loving mother, has the sympathy of friends and neighbors. Card of Thanks We wish our express heartfelt thanks to all our friends and neighbors, who so readily assisted us during the illness and death of our mother also for the beautiful flowers and other tokens of sympathy extended to us in our bereavement.
