Description	:	Mrs. Ole Sandal passed away at the St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre, Sunday Feb. 14, 1932, after a lingering illness of diabetes which she had been suffering with for several years previous. She had only been confined to her bed for a short time after a more serious affliction of the disease and which she seemed to be combating until two weeks before her death, when she entered the hospital and passed away at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 21 days. She had only been confined to her bed for a short time after a more serious affliction of the disease and which she seemed to be combating until two weeks before her death, when she entered the hospital and passed away at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 21 days. Anna Olson was born is Vaage, Norway, Dec. 24, 1873 and came to this country when four years old. She lived in Minnesota until 18 years old then moving to Bristol, SD where she was united in marriage to Ole Sandal March 14, 1895. After several years they came to their present location, 35 miles north of Midland as homesteaders, where they lived until her death. Eleven children were born to this union, two daughters, Alice and Afel, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Ole Sandal, six sons, John, Peter, Arthurs, Roy, Walter and Conrad: three daughters, Mrs. Ida Bentley, Mrs. Minnie Harris and Mrs. Esther Curry; sixteen grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers besides other relatives and a host of friends. She was a member of the Norwegian Lutheran Church and was always a faithful worker for Christianity. On Feb. 17 with Rev. Olson of Midland in charge, brief services and interment was made in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
