Rev. Father Sylvester Grady was celebrant of the requiem Mass. Casket bearers were grandsons, DeWayne Mosbach, Edward Mosbach, Lyle Mosbach, Richard Mosbach, Harland Johnson and Richard Johnson, and burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Anna Vath, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Vath, was born November 2, 1870 near Metamora, Ill. She was united in marriage to Joseph Mosbach on February 15, 1892 and five children were born to this union. They are Joe of Duncombe, Mrs. Agnes Johnson of Rockwell, Frank of Storm Lake, and Otto and George of Pocahontas. The family lived in Illinois for 28 years before moving to Pocahontas in 1920. Since the death of her husband in 1948, Mrs. Mosbach made her home with her son, George. She became ill February 5 and entered Mercy Hospital at Fort Dodge, where she died on February 9. Mrs. Mosbach is survived by her four sons and one daughter, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Contributed by Teresa #49560808
