Description	:	MRS. GERRIT A. VER MEER Anna Blom, daughter of Tunis Blom and Frances Blom was born on the twenty-ninth of August, 1890 in Herweynen, the Netherlands. She departed this life at her home in Pella on the morning of December 2, 1949, having attained the age of fifty nine years, three months and three days. At the age of three years she came to America with her parents. On March 6, 1913 she was united in marriage to Gerrit A. Ver Meer. VER MEER Anna Blom, daughter of Tunis Blom and Frances Blom was born on the twenty-ninth of August, 1890 in Herweynen, the Netherlands. She departed this life at her home in Pella on the morning of December 2, 1949, having attained the age of fifty nine years, three months and three days. At the age of three years she came to America with her parents. On March 6, 1913 she was united in marriage to Gerrit A. Ver Meer. To this union two children were born, namely, Tudor and Ella, (Mrs. Nick Menninga.) After her marriage she lived on a farm east of Pella until establishing residence in Pella in 1941. She is survived by her husband, her children and five grandchildren. She became a member in full communion of the First Christian Reformed Church in 1915 and has remained a faithful member until the end. She was a devoted wife, mother and grand, mother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In God's design of life for us That He Himself has planned, There are so many hidden things We do not understand., But He would have us know His plan Is such a wondrous one, That when we do not understand, To, say, "Thy will be done." Funeral services were held on Monday, December 6, 1949, at 1 p.m., from the residence and at 1:30 p.m., from the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. S. Vroon officiated and interment was in the Black Oak Center Cemetery. Casket bearers were Henry Vander Beek, P. Vander Haar, Al Vander Meiden, Joe Nunnikhoven, Abe A. Roorda and H.A. Tysseling.
