Richard Lindstrom officiated. Mrs. Allen Hart and Rodney Hart provided music. Ushers were Harlan Anderson and Harold Renander. Casket bearers were Allen Hart, Stephen Anderson, Robert Cerven, Ralph Palmquist, Melvin Hogberg, and Donald Palmquist. Interment was in Mission Covenant Cemetery, Stanton, Iowa. Anna Victoria Franseen, the daughter of Samuel and Clara Palmquist Mainquist, was born September 9, 1891, on a farm south of Stanton, Iowa. She died suddenly at the Vista Gardens Care Center in Red Oak, Iowa on January 19, 1988 at the age of 96. She was united in marriage to Axel Ivar Franseen on November 26, 1919 at Red Oak. She lived all her life in Montgomery County and has been a resident of Vista Gardens since April of 1983. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical Covenant Church of Stanton and the Covenant Women of that church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on August 16, 1980, a granddaughter, seven sister and one brother. Anna is survived by two sons, Alden of Spencer, Iowa and Millard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Niema (Mrs. Arthur) Anderson of Red Oak; six children, 19 grandchildren, and by other relatives and friends.
