Description	:	Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Fenton Methodist Church for Mrs. Will Weisbrod, long time resident of this vicinity. Mrs. Weisbrod died Aug. 14, at a Des Moines hospital from cancer of the liver. She had been ill for several years. The service was at the Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harvey Walker officiating. The Thomas Funeral home was in charge and burial was in the family lot at the Fenton cemetery. Anna Wagner was born August 5, 1872, at Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. On December 11, 1889 she was married to William J. Weisbrod at Burt, Iowa. They lived on a farm two miles east of Fenton. Her husband died April 4, 1958 at 96 years of age. Active in many community affairs, Mrs. Weisbrod was a member of the Methodist church at Fenton, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She helped organize the first 4-H club at Fenton, the Fenton Forwards, in 1926. She served as leader and assistant leader for more than 30 years. She was a charter member of the Fenton Woman's Club organized in 1927 Mrs. Weisbrod is survived by three daughters, Florence, Des Moines; Elinor, Mrs. Ray Berke of Fort Worth, Texas; and Alice, Mrs. Hugo Denker of Lester. A son Donald died October 30, 1956. There are five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
