Description	:	Anne (q.v., Amie) Robinson, dau. of Ens. Thomas Robinson and his 1st wife Annah, b. May 1 (bp. June 24), 1733 of record at Windham, Conn. She d. in Sept. 1804 at that part of the Town of Windham now the Town of Scotland, Conn., "aged 71 (sic)." On Apr. 16, 1755 at the Scotland Society Ch. (Ch. Rec.), then within the Town of Windham, Conn., Anne m. 1) Daniel Rindge, the purported s. of Isaac Rindge and Elizabeth Dutch, b. poss. at Ipswich, Mass. after Aug. 4, 1729. He d. Rec.), Anne m. 2) as his 3rd wife, William Cushman, widower of Anne's paternal aunt Ruth Robinson, b. Feb. 26, 1723/4 of record at Plympton, Mass. See Ruth's memorial for more detail. Neither the report of Anne's death or transcription of an extant gravestone appears in Hale's Conn. Cemetery database, but her death was reported in the Sept. 6, 1804 issue of the Windham Herald newspaper: • DIED: At Scotland, Mrs. AMIE CUSHMAN, relict of Mr. William Cufhman, aged 71. [given Anne's recorded date of birth, based on the historical meaning of the word "aged" Anne died 71 years old and "aged" 72] Anne (Robinson)(Rindge) Cushman, called Amie above and so written in her will but signed by her mark, died testate. She wrote her will Aug. 6, 1804, which was proved Sept. 3, 1804 when James Robinson, Elijah Baker and Richard Martyn gave oath as witnesses. Anne named "my well beloved" niece Amie (Luce) Robinson as executrix, to whom she left her entire estate. Amie was the daughter of Anne's older sister Anna (Robinson) Luce with Amie the 2nd wife of her cousin Elias Robinson. The will was formally probated Oct. 30, 1805 with Amie (who signed as Ama) appointed administratrix the same day. Amie's father-in-law Experience Robinson (who also was her 1st cousin once removed) was her surety. The core descendant Robinson family is interred, some without known gravestones, at the original north section of the Scotland, Conn. cemetery. It is presumed Anne is also interred there without a now extant gravestone. Edited and Expanded 12/6/2015
