Read More	The New Hampton Tribune of 05 Aug 1914 (excerpts) MRS JAMES CASEY GIVEN TO THE TOMB Splendid New Hampton Mother is Taken Suddenly and Without Warning -- Is Mourned By Many The announcement which reached the public on Sunday morning that Mrs James Casey had died during the night brought sorrow to many who knew her. She had been on the street on Saturday evening and it seemed incredible that the Death Angel could have been hovering so near. The end came with practically no warning and before aid could be given. The deceased was born at Pittsburgh, Pa, September 28, 1844 and while still a young woman, came with her parents to this county. On April 24, 1866, she was married to Mr James Casey, who preceded her to the grave on June 29, 1912. To this esteemable couple, thirteen children were born, two of whom are dead. Besides her children, she leaves to mourn her death, four sisters -- Mrs James McKone of Lawler; Mrs Thomas Quirk of Lawler; Mrs John Kearns of Jerico and Mrs R.E. Murphy of Fort Pierre, S.D.; three brothers, Arthur and Thomas McCarten of Marshall, Minn, and Joseph McCarten of Struel, S.D. The funeral was held yesterday at 9 o'clock from St Joseph's Church and was conducted by the pastor, Rev M.H. Carey. Burial was made in St Joseph's Cemetery.
