The funeral took place from the Baptist Church Sunday afternoon, the service being conducted by Rev. S. A. Abbott, who preached a short but eloquent address. The Masons and Eastern Stars took charge of the arrangements and conducted the funeral, which was unusually large, the family being well known and respected. Annie J. Morrow was born in Mason County near Shelton, Oct. 3, 1873. All her life has been spent in this state except a short time in Oregon, where she had typhoid fever, from which she never recovered, having been of poor health most of her life. Mrs. Morrow and her children moved to Aberdeen just three years ago but with no improvement in health. She had been bedfast for the past two years, without hopes of recovery with nervous exhaustion due to Lagrippe, but the immediate cause of death was nervous peristaltic vomiting. She leaves a sorrowing mother, two brothers, and four sisters, two of the latter, Mrs. Charles Leake and Mrs. Thomas McLarty, living in Shelton. The Morrows is one of our pioneer families and have numerous relatives in Mason County. The family have the sympathy of all our people who are familiar with the sickly life and patient spirit of Annie and the efforts of all to make her trials the easier to bear until death should come to her relief.
