She was born October 22, 1857, in Iowa, and came to Kansas with her parents when a child. She has lived in the county 45 years. Read More	Cherokee Sentinel, June 20, 1924, page 1: Mrs. Frank Montee Dead Mrs. Anna Montee, aged 56, wife of Frank Montee died Wednesday afternoon at the family home in the north part of town. She was born October 22, 1857, in Iowa, and came to Kansas with her parents when a child. She has lived in the county 45 years. She was a member of the Security Benefit Association and the Christian church. She has been ill for a long time and the end was not unexpected. Mrs. Montee is survived by her husband, Frank Montee, and by four sons, Leslie and Percy at Midway and Mark and Tom at home; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Rogers of O'Fallon, Ill. and Mrs. Lelia Rogers of Cermadra, Calif.; six brothers, Will and Arthur Morrison of Century, Okla., John Morrison of Galena, Bart Morrison of Monmouth, Lewis Morrison of King Hill, Idaho, and Dr. C.C. Morrison of Erie. She is also survived by five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Christian church.
